Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain critical software in a fast-paced quality-conscious environment
- Quickly understand complex systems/code and own key pieces of the system, including the delivered quality
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex problems in a distributed computing environment
- Work alongside other Engineers and cross functional teams to diagnose/troubleshoot any production performance related issues
- Work in Java, Golang, Python, NodeJS, and React, and built systems on of Docker, MySQL, and Redis
Skills:
- Must have at least 2+ years of experience in backend development using Golang. Experience with Python or Node.js is an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases like MongoDB
- Experience with Kafka, including producers, consumers, consumer groups, and event-driven architecture
- Microservices Architecture and distributed systems is mandatory
- Ability to design, develop, and debug complex code
- Proper understanding of networking and security protocols (HTTPS, SSL, Certs)
- Experience in building containerized applications (K8S/ Docker) is a plus
- Ability to design/develop in REST, GRPC, and GraphQL APIs is a plus
